FAQs

What % of budget do local businesses invest on digital advertising?

According to most research, between 60-65% of marketing budgets are now spent on digital channels. That’s climbed considerably every year as it was an average of only 37% of the marketing budget in 2016. *Sources BIA/Kelsey; Radio Ink; Garner; CMO Survey; U.S. Small Business Administration; WSJ

What if I do not have the budget?

We customize our digital services to fit your budget. One thing we have learned is if we have a way to identify and reach your specific type of customers (and show you how to track the results) it becomes much more valuable to you. It is like investing money, the more you put in, the greater the return. We also will not take your money if we don’t think it’s the right fit for what you’re trying to accomplish.

How much does it cost?

Digital products are bought on a cost per thousand (as impressions). So, the costs differ depending on the product. Once we meet and discover your challenges and your goals, we can put together a sample proposal for you that outlines a budget.

How much would I need to invest to see results?

That depends on how big of a geographic are you want to target customers. Is it small (couple of miles radius) or is large (county-wide or larger)? There is a range of product pricing depending on your challenges and goals. We can use the forecasting impressions graph on your Campaign Planner to justify your ad investment.

How long does it take to work?

With digital advertising you can quickly see what’s working and what’s not. Unless you have a large budget, you probably won’t see major results the first month. However, our experience has given us extreme confidence you will see measurable results within three months. We also optimize your schedule weekly based on how the campaign is progressing as the algorithms learn and can predict better who will respond to your ads based on prior performance. So, the longer a campaign runs, the better it keeps working for you.

How will you know if your digital campaign is working?

There are quite a few metrics and ways to measure the effectiveness of your digital advertising. In addition to the normal ways you measure other marketing and advertising, you also receive detail monthly reports showing how the ad is performing for you and your website. Some of the other ways to view ad response is through your Google Analytics to see the increased traffic to your website and to the click through landing page. If you are running Mobile Conquesting, we can your track in-store visits and show an Audience DNA report. In addition, and most importantly, let’s look at your sales, calls, traffic and compare year over year statistics.

What if I tried digital before and it didn’t work?

If this is true for you, we understand your frustration and disappointment, and the first thing we always look at is what kind of digital advertising did you do? Many times, it wasn’t something customized for you, but a cookie cutter campaign that wasn’t really specific to your exact customer. It also could be an add-on from a media company that fit their needs and their revenue goals, not yours. Just because a proctologist is a doctor doesn’t mean you want them performing heart surgery – you want a specialist. We only do digital advertising – we specialize in it. Digital products are continually adjusting with ever-changing technologies and we stay on top of them, adding and discontinuing various digital products based on their return for our clients.

What if I’m doing just fine without digital advertising?

Most of our business partners initially built their business before there even was digital advertising! Just as your business and industry has gone through changes the past few years, that pales in comparison to how much consumer habits have changed with the increase in digital products from using Video on platforms like YouTube, Amazon Prime and Netflix, listening to Audio on platforms like Spotify, Pandora and Podcast downloads, and of course social media usage. And that doesn’t even touch how people are using their smart phones, laptops and tablets to search businesses, buy products and make decisions before considering you. What worked before and helped you build your business may hinder future growth if your competition is using digital advertising. Digital advertising lets you track results and see data to prove what is working and in what ways.

What if digital advertising is just too confusing for us?

Our job is to simplify your online advertising Digital Advertising can be confusing with so many changing products. Our goal is to help your business grow by reaching your exact customer. We can’t determine that until we discover your unique challenges and your goals. We have also found that your objectives change and that’s where our expertise comes into play by using actual data to see what is working and what isn’t. So you don’t have to fully understand digital advertising – you have to measure results and it’s our goal to bring you those results. We bring those to you in easy to understand metrics, so you see what is working and what isn’t.

What if I’m targeting businesses, not consumers?

Yes, we do B2B advertising! We can target specific types of businesses and job titles for you, and we have multiple ways of reaching your customer if you are a B2B company. The digital products may be a little different, but the metrics and the way to measure are like our consumer products.

Why can’t we do our own digital marketing?

You can. But the question is can you do it better than your competitors? We are skilled at optimizing digital marketing by maximizing your ad budget with various forms of digital from social media, to Mobile Conquesting, to Geo Framing, etc.… Plus, we have data you probably can’t access like metrics from Amazon on their shoppers. In addition, digital advertising campaigns are time consuming to manage – we have the benefit of managing hundreds and hundreds of campaigns. We stay on top of changes to products, new products, and algorithm changes. You could do it, but should you do it? That is why you need an expert buying your ads and more importantly, making sure it brings the results you want.
